new lives...

not much is going on really... i've been to all my classes now, and i've discovered that i have a really stinking lot of reading homework for all my classes, and some writing, but that's pretty much all i'll need to do. it'll be time consuming, but i suppose i'm used to that. i tried out for the musical last night and had some choir meetings and i have try outs for Highland Singers soon, so maybe i'm biting off a little more than i can chew. we'll see... at any rate, i'm excited. emily might come visit over her fall break! yay! that makes me happy, because even though i haven't even been gone a week i miss everyone terribly anyway.
grrrr. if it weren't for the homework i would absolutely love college! i love living with my two best friends here, and having a lot of free time, and i really don't even mind my classes that much... i just need to perfect my time management i think. i love my room and i love my hall and i like our campus a lot. the food isn't as good as home, but still it's not bad. i'm enjoying getting to know people (haha! Leesh) and hanging out in the middle of the day. it's a big change, but not entirely for the worse lol.
i am looking foward to coming home for the weekend the first time in a few weeks... we'll see when that is. at any rate, i miss my sisters and my parents like crazy. but i absolutely LOVE letters! lol. it just makes my day to find a card or a hand-written letter in my mailbox! hehe! it's a little way to break the boredom of the routine.
anyways, i've gotta go and finish my homework so i can watch a movie in a little bit.
