welcome to your last semester!

well... my last semester anyway. here at CP. which is in many ways a relief. then again... it's also the most ridiculous work i've ever done: hard calc chapter, 3 page spanish research, GI over-my-head topics, Rhetoric double-load, and other manner of nothing good. i think i'm getting sick of it... really just ready to quit. lol. but i'd better keep on going, or else i'll never graduate. which really would be a shame after almost 8 years, i think. i wish it were like... late april already...
but other than that, nothing much has been going on, aside from the hang-outs with my awesome friends and family. lol. i'm looking foward to the weekend. i dunno why. must be cause it's Clinton birthday!!! the weekend after that is JBU scholarship competition, then after than it's Rachel's birthday, Pirates, and Valentines. goodness, what a busy few weeks.
i'm really excited for our Spiritual Empasis Week speaker, and I hope everyone else is. it's that guy Ray that came to talk earlier this year. i think he really relates pretty well to everyone and he'll be a lot of fun. unfortunately i'll be gone on friday... ooh, i'd better tell matt that. speaking of which, the band should really get practicing, boys.
my laptop came in, which is very exciting, cause i finally could hook up my iPod, which i've had for four months lol. it's a very early graduation present, so that's fun. but i have to do my speech tomorrow, and i'm sure i won't do well, so i'd better go start working on it. have a great week! (or as good as you can...)

hello everyone! one week down... seventeen to go. till everyone's done with school. all of us. (well... except for michelle) that's really exciting, cause when you think about, summer's really not like being away from people... you just don't have to see them in a place like school lol. and i'll have no homework this summer (book reports, that is). so, over all, i'm looking foward to it a whole lot. my mom and i made a list for graduation invitations today... we figure we guessed pretty well, since we ordered 100 and came out with like 95ish... and you always forget a couple initially. but yeah...
we have a lot of projects this semester. my mom told me not to worry about them very much because these grades won't at all effect where i go to college... that, of course, was not licensure to slack off. colleges are still down to three options right now, but financial stuff and that kinda thing is starting to come in and i'm looking strongly at that. who knows... i'll be anywhere from 3 hours to like... 25 hours away. that's a long ways...

new dictionary term:
accidenticals~ this one Shane came up with... he was trying to say accidental i think, but at any rate this is what it comes out as. i'm pretty sure it can mean anything from "accident" to "i'm trying to explain myself but it's not working..." (any part of speech, with little tweaks in form)
